San Diego bay

Balboa Park Hummingbird

What a wonderful welcomed relief from the Texas heat.
We arrived and headed to Point Loma Lighthouse; Cabrillo National Monument.
We ventured off to La Jolla and spent the day wandering in and out of shops.
Ending the afternoon in Balboa Park where I not only rode the carousel, but tried my hand at grabbing the brass ring. We saw the play “The last Romance” with Marion Ross at the Globe Theater. It was a delightful night.
On our last evening, we had dinner on the deck at Peohe’s with a full moon, while watching fireworks across the bay.
We had a fantastic time because this is an amazing place !
